A General Contractor oversees all construction operations, manages client relationships, ensures project profitability, and leads the business’s strategic growth. They handle estimating, scheduling, subcontractor management, compliance, and quality control while representing the company as its primary decisionmaker.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Oversight — Direct all phases of construction, including planning, scheduling, execution, and closeout.
Business Management — Manage company operations, budgeting, financial planning, and strategic growth.
Client Relations — Serve as the primary point of contact, provide estimates, negotiate contracts, and maintain longterm client satisfaction.Subcontractor Coordination — Hire, supervise, and evaluate subcontractors; ensure work meets quality and safety standards.
Regulatory Compliance — Maintain licenses, permits, inspections, and adherence to building codes and OSHA requirements.
Quality Control — Conduct site visits, monitor workmanship, and resolve issues promptly.Risk Management — Identify project risks, manage insurance, and enforce safety protocols.
Estimating & Budgeting — Prepare bids, cost estimates, and financial projections for all projects.Team Leadership — Recruit, train, and lead employees; foster a productive and safe work environment.
Salary/Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
