Maintenance Technician

Are you someone who enjoys hands-on work, solving problems, and helping keep a community running smoothly? Nxt Property Management is looking for a reliable Full-Time Maintenance Technician to join the team at Arden Place Apartments in Orem, Utah.

Position Overview

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play an important role in maintaining the appearance, functionality, and overall upkeep of the Arden Place community. You'll work closely with the onsite team to ensure residents receive timely service and the property remains well cared for.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair work throughout the apartment community
• Respond to resident service requests in a timely and professional manner
• Complete apartment turns and prepare vacant units for incoming residents
• Assist with preventative maintenance of building systems, amenities, and common areas
• Support curb appeal through light groundskeeping and property upkeep
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues involving appliances, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
• Partner with office staff and team members to support daily community operations
• Deliver excellent customer service to residents, vendors, and fellow associates

Compensation & Benefits

Pay: $21+ per hour, based on experience

Qualifications

Required:

• At least 1 year of maintenance experience in apartments, hospitality, facilities, or a related field
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently while managing priorities effectively
• Basic computer and mobile device proficiency
• Strong troubleshooting ability and attention to detail
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English

Preferred:

• Experience with apartment turns / make-readies
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, or general carpentry
• Experience with groundskeeping or exterior property maintenance
