Maintain cleanliness of public space including the lobby, public restrooms, offices, elevators and stairways; Ensure Trapp Family Lodge's high standards of cleanliness throughout public and guest spaces; Assist housekeeping staff in response to guest requests.

A High School degree preferred. The interview and/or reference checks should show 1) a strong work ethic and reliability; 2) a good understanding of the role of the housekeeper in providing guest satisfaction and maintaining positive relations with guests and co-workers; 3) the ability to communicate effectively with others; 4) the ability to work cooperatively with others to achieve guest satisfaction, 5) the ability to exercise mature judgment and 6) displays the initiative and attention to detail required to be an effective housekeeper.
Ability to read, and interpret housekeeping manuals, training materials, technical information such as MSDS and instructions for using cleaning products; Ability use radio and/or telephone to communicate with staff and supervisors;
Ability to use concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions.
Ability to solve practical problems using common sense and logic; Ability to interpret and act on a variety of instructions which may be furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Must be customer focused and maintain a positive attitude at all times. Always maintain a clean and presentable look and be willing to help customers or co-workers at any given time. Self motivated person who is able to remain focused even in extremely busy/stressful conditions; Must be able to be extremely detail oriented in work; Ability to multi-task and prioritize are essential. This position requires the use of company vehicle; the employee must comply with Motor Vehicle Record check to ensure clean driving record.

1. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to extremes in heat, and going in and out of doors.
