Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a DevOps Cloud Engineer for a Contract with a client in Plano, TX. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in building CI/CD pipelines and automating deployments while optimizing performance, ensuring security, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure .

Rate Range: $44/Hour to $45/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


DevOps Cloud Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Design and implement AWS ECS Fargate-based architectures and manage cloud infrastructure components.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and AWS CDK for automated deployments.
• Containerize and modernize .NET applications using Docker and optimize performance for cloud environments.
• Implement monitoring and observability using Datadog, including dashboards, alerts, and log management.
• Ensure security, compliance, and cost optimization across AWS services and cloud workloads.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in AWS cloud, DevOps, and application modernization.
• Strong hands-on expertise in AWS ECS Fargate, CDK, Docker, and CI/CD pipeline implementation using GitHub Actions.
• Proven experience in cloud migration of .NET applications, implementing observability, and ensuring security and scalability of cloud infrastructure.

Pay Details: $44.00 to $45.00 per hour
