Job Description:

As a Crisis Program Supervisor, you will work closely with the Crisis Program Director to oversee the daily operations of one Crisis Home. This role provides direct leadership and support to Crisis Interventionists and other assigned staff while ensuring the delivery of safe, trauma-informed, and person-centered services.

This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced crisis environment. You will support individuals experiencing behavioral crises, coach and develop staff, oversee daily operations, and help ensure the home remains compliant with 245D licensing requirements and organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Supervise, coach, and support Crisis Interventionists while fostering a positive, accountable team culture.
  • Crisis Support: Provide leadership during behavioral crises and ensure staff use safe, trauma-informed, and person-centered interventions.
  • Daily Operations: Oversee staffing, schedules, timecards, and day-to-day operations of the Crisis Home.
  • Behavioral & Person-Centered Support: Monitor behavioral trends and ensure behavior support, crisis prevention, and person-centered plans are implemented consistently.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Maintain required documentation, medication oversight, and compliance with 245D and organizational standards.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Work closely with the Crisis Program Director, staff, guardians, case managers, healthcare providers, and other partners to support individuals and address program needs.

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental health disabilities OR a related bachelor's degree with at least 1 year of direct care experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience working in a crisis setting or 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a behavioral residential setting.
  • Experience supporting individuals with high-intensity behaviors and responding effectively in crisis situations.
  • Knowledge of person-centered thinking, behavioral support, and crisis intervention practices.
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Experience managing staff schedules, documentation, and basic household budgets.
  • Proficient with computers and electronic documentation.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record and current vehicle insurance.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 100 pounds periodically and meet the physical demands of the position.
